There Official Position of the Syrian National Party for Justice and Constitution (NJC) toward the International Coalition to Combat Terrorism

The position of the western governments in general and the US in particular regarding the right of the Syrian people to oust the regime of tyranny and terrorism represented by the duality of the Assad regime and the Islamic State (ISIS), has been ambiguous. However, the western attempt to destroy one of its too poles might represent a beginning of the solution if it is accompanied by a realistic and moral vision at the same time

This initiative, led by the USA, through assembling an unprecedented international coalition to destroy ISIS, will remain incomplete and without guaranteed  results. This is because it came late and also because it is selective. More over, negative reactions may arise due to the expansion of the territory that hosts the extremism which is in turn due to the higher level of feeling victims among the average people

We, at the National Party for Justice and Constitution, see that a fair approach by the coalition leading toward enabling the Syrian people to govern the liberated and recovered territories from the Islamic State, in addition to maintaining a no fly zone over the Assad regime, will help creating an advanced model for a civil and modern government which meets the aspirations of the Syrian people. This government will be at peace with her local Islamic environment as well as with all the universal human values and the freedom in place internationally. Also, this government will be a true partner in the establishment of the international security. This is through the creation of a new value climate within the Islamic culture. This in turn will remove the any legitimacy and provide a clear contrast to the religious extremists

While we took upon ourselves the task of establishing a theoretical project with solid religious. Ask and reference to conquer the ideological foundations of the terrorism, we invite all the national forces, Islamists or otherwise, spread across the region to show solidarity with us and work together to expand such an initiative in order to make it a vision for a new world where tolerance and rejection of violence and extremism are the widespread values; a world where the values of freedom, fraternity and equality prevail
